Did some mix and match over the weekend, tested the Unifoil 170 with a chopped 14" race stab with the small shim and 75cm mast. In 18-22knts (4m Naish Matador LT) 1-2 foot swell and wind chops. After an initial adjustment run out, 5mm mast track backwards from my Naish HA1040, short fuse and HA220 stab 1 degree shim. Glides and pumps very well for a 170 (est. 1100) ar 6.0 wing and turns super smooth, took a while to get the right foot pressure during a turn on that flat stab. Easy to pop on to a jump also
. Overall, a super nice to ride foil in choppy small wind swept conditions.
Thanks Chris of KiteRepublic for fuselage and stab advice ![]()
