For those of you in the US mainland, what's the best place to sell used gear? I am East Coast NYC and still very very few Wing Foilers so Craigslist has nothing.
Thanks in advance.

standupzone.com has a classified section that gets some hits. You can also get more specific with Craigslist, post in Hawaii for instance.
The various facebook groups can work but they're already 90% classified ads.

I'm in your area (NYC/LI) so PM me and I might be able to hook you up. We got a bunch of wingfoilers around and lots of progression happening
so folks are looking to sell

I'm in RI and have never had a problem with Craigslist, especially if I offer to ship which isn't too bad with Winging equipment. I'd post Craigslist and see what happens.

I tried to join that forum twice, never was approved by admin. Useless.

Facebook has worked well for me. Only the local area foiling groups though (e.g. Northwest Wingers, or Bay Area) as i dont want to deal with shipping and the fraud risks etc.

If you're into Armstrong, the Armstrong Foil Riders group is a great place to buy/sell. The listings are international but most are US-based.

You have to make your username very clearly wind/wave sports related, otherwise the admin thinks it's a spam request. I guess he gets a ton.

Yep. It took me a few go rounds to get approved.

After approved, you can change your name to your liking.

It's too bad it's so difficult. I know a few locals who wanted to join the stand up zone but gave up after a few attempts. I'd guess that's a widespread issue

It seems that Seabreeze is the international one to rule them all. But don't tell the Aussie's, they still think this is an Australian forum

I actually got kicked off the Standup Zone by the moderator (Randy). Never had that happen before. He started this long thread all about editing videos and talked frequently about the latest drone he got for making videos, but he never actually posted any of his videos online. l vaguely recall my last post saying how I was looking forward to him posting some videos from all that editing work he was doing, and boom,..that was it. Never mess with the moderator!

Back on topic, sold my Axis gear through the Axis Foil Riders FB group, my Moses gear through the SABfoil/ Moses Hydrofoil FB group, and my Gong foil gear through the Gong Galaxy FB Group. Pretty logical. Sold some locally by word of mouth, some by general FB Market Place and some by local related FB groups (OBX Kiteboarding). Selling my FSM board right now. Boards are challenging because they are hard/expensive to ship

When Stand Leopard (long time ago) got the boot the place was no longer the same. He was so good with the writing... Didn't know you got the boot too. Bummer.

Your board for sale looks awesome. Wish I could ride such a small board. Someone will be getting a good deal on that one.
