Very nice!!
Some interesting wing piloting from James Casey there. In some of his turns he keeps the wing in the same hand and gets it to whip around behind him whilst he turns in both directions. Essentially giving him full freedom in the turns! I have also seen Titouan Galea do this very nicely.
It would be a great technique to master as it would free up turns so much. It seems like a good fast hard turn would be crucial to keep the apparent wind to fly the wing. He is also probably using his hand to pull it around a bit more than usual.
Thoughts anyone?
He also keeps the wing (and himself) real close to the water surface hey. I'd say the wing just whips around naturally as he turns His body.
Going straight downwind faster than the wind is hard to control the wing. He is good, great to watch.
great vid, played that heal side tack over and over again.... James Casey you make it look easy
my next turn to learn![]()
Jimmy has some serious skills. That was actually really hard to ride in. Very onshore and much lighter than it looked. A gradient NE'er that had been blowing for a couple of days. More whitecaps than push. It is always good to ride with him as you can see what is possible even if you can't do it the same.

Same place, different day, different quality of rider, same amount of fun...
