I rebooted my original Aviator review as a parawing article. Once I sorted out how to waterstart a narrow thick board this design became a weapon for getting me through the learning stages quickly!

Cheers for the hooked in start tip. I was worried about balancing on my 19.5cm wide board on my maiden voyage with my new Pocket Rocket. Your method makes sense -being hands free while getting the balance enhancement of the forward motion provided by a parawing attached to your harness. It may even be easier than getting a wing into your hands from a stationary position in big chop/swell.

I think this is correct. Even with my balance and experience using the wing on narrow boards over 100's of sessions once I figured this out it only took me 2-3 sessions to start thinking I was more stable than with a wing on a narrow board.

Stumbleweed, hope to see you at the river again! Glad you enjoyed it.
