Hi all
As I get older I'm quite aware of the need to protect myself from UV, and as a newbie I'm getting tossed in the drink a fair amount and so the sun screen washes off. I can wear my sunnies with my Protec helmet but I was wondering what other's use?
I wear an SPF-50 stinger suit as sun protection and it has a hood, but nothing for my face really...

I have a routine now which suits me because it cuts the time required to get out the when I'm frothing.
I buy cheap trucker hats from BigW. Like $6 or so, and a handful of these from wish or eBay
First the clear zinke goes on the face. This is now the only stuff I use. It doesn't wash off, I can't taste it and its just plain awesome. Link below

Then the pink Zink on the nose and cheeks.
Then the cap.
Then the balaclava goes on over the top. You can cover almost the entire face with the balaclava or you can pull it down below the chin if your breathing hard or looking down sun.

Ha yeah it takes longer to describe it but I only have to lather up the little slot between lips and forehead....I hate putting sunscreen on my ears in particular.
I tend to lose bucket hats, but the bankrobber outfit keeps the hat glued on.
For sunscreen I recommend the Rip Curl 50, best sunscreen out there that sticks and stays during water sports. Doesn't sting your eyes.
