I'm often winging out to an island to find good waves and I'm looking for a way to bring some water and snacks to extend the session.

Anyone with experiences? Preferably a small sub 15l pack.

Lots of good paddling Life jackets solve this problem. Check out vaikobi.

Impact vest, water, phone, muesli bars, high visibility. Required in NSW if more than 400m from shore.

I can sail till Im exhausted.

Bit bulky but u get use to it. Water bladder tip water only, sugar makes it go mouldy.

Does the law state the size and the ingredients of the muesli bars?

Patagonia guidewater sling pack is legit, especially if you can get it 50% off. 15L though.

Just a camel back like the motorbike / mountain bikers use, with a water proof wet bag? Been using that for my phone with downwinders for a few years.

Highly recommend Overboard kit..
For 5+ yrs been using there phone pouch and also the rucksack 20l you are hinting at - put dry stuff in for down winders if catching bus back - Qld sun and wetsuit etc poor mix for land side of trip - so carries dry stuff on water and my wet stuff on land!!
