Same thing happened to my Hover S25. To be fair it is over 2 years old. I too would like to hear any suggestions s on a fix. Can you replace the whole deck pad?

I removed the whole deck pad of an gong lethal surffoilboard and build it new with rsp hexagons. Now seems to be cool. But it was an hellish work. I slowly warmed it up with an Hairdryer and then removed it Carefully. Finally used an liquid stuff for removing of stickers and cleaned it completely.

I had a Hover and same think, my current diy build is going the same way. On my surf sup board i used wax on the deck when it got slippy, it worked well.
