No. Needs a lot of wind and is heavy. V2 very good.

Thx what sort of size would you need for 10 to 15 knots for a beginner

Going to depend on your weight and skill. Beginner heavier riders definitely need a 6m kite. Lighter more skilled 5 m.

A beginner will struggle in 10 to 15 knots. 15 to 20 makes it easier with a 5. 20 plus with a 4

10-15 is a struggle on any gear for a beginner.

Wish it was that simple to get started.....
Worse problem is big wings, 6+, like to catch wingtip in anything below 15, so it's a constant struggle in it's designed winds.
Now you experts will say 'it's easy, even 7.2's". So, I'd like to recommend....5.2 MAX when learning....and appropriate 16-22 breeze.
And look for flat water.

I'm 80kg so I think 5m sounds like my best option

I'm 85 and I wasted a year on a 4m. Agree with 5m. Reassess when you're kicking goals and build a quiver to cover your whole wind range.

What windspeed do you plan to ride in? This should be as important a determining factor as your weight.

Hopefully around 15 to 20 but we get a lot of wind in 10 to 15 range here

Wait for the good days. I wasted my time trying to wing in 10-15. First day in 15+ I got on foil.

The wind I want, and the wind I get are two very different things. 10-15 will be a waste of time with a 5 unless you weigh 100lbs. I started with a 5m for use in 15-20mph winds to complement other windsport gear I use in lighter wind. I found myself constantly trying to wing when it was under 15 because it's was a fun new challenge, but I was sadly underpowered. I'm 180lbs and have kitefoiling and windfoiling experience
