Hi all.
5'11" @ 85kgs wet.I have a Naish S26 5.3m as my biggest wing. im looking for a light wind wing, something I can pump easy to get out in the lightest of conditions. I find the Naish a great wing but pumping means a lot of flapping compared to the tighter canopies.
My dealer has 2 options I could look at, Duotone slick or Ensis score.
anyone tried both and what's your thoughts. thanks in advance.
A general comment .... I think a 6m is too close in size to your 5.3m ..... I would be looking at a 6.5 or 7m.
I had 7m, 6m, 5m wings and found I was never using the 6m. The gap was too close.
I suspect that in the long run we will end up with close gaps on the small wings and larger gaps on the large wings similar to kiting.

I will prob readjust sizes and get a 4.5 to replace the 5.3..
I think a 7m might just feel to big and cumbersome for me.

I am 5ft 8in, 76kg and use 6.5 Slick with no issues so you should not have any problems.

With 6.5 Slick and 1150 or 1050 Axis foil I can foil from 8kn
I tried both and would recommend you another one: F-One Strike 8 CWC.
CWC is awesome in such size. Very good power and easy pumping, and very balanced handles.
It's made for super light wind.
Slick has too much power in the front and a huge wingspan. Its also heavy
The score is good balanced, but for me, the handles are too small/tight. Has a lot of power but is also very heavy.
with 85kg and 8cwc strike you should get going from 6 7 kn.

Reminds me of when I had 25m kite for light wind
.
Be carefull about sizes.
I tested a Takuma 6 and it was bigger then my Slingwing v2 6,4 !
More like a 7m. Of course it was powerfull but felt HUGE on the water.
I think it is the same for the Ensis 6 (same design/designer) and maybe the Score.
So compare sizes.
I laid the 7m CWC on top of the Ensis Score 6.2m. The CWC wing span was much wider.
If you use a harness, the Score wins. Draft stable and unlimited feeling. CWC has poor draft stability in the harness. So poor in fact, the rear harness connection point had to be moved from the rear pigtail to the rear handle. Even with harness line relocated, balance was moving all over the place with speed changes.
