Has anyone out there researched the shortest span wings (that still perfrom) for their size, thinking 5m. At 155cm my wife finds even a 4.4 wing tricky at times with tip strike but is wanting to upsize for lighter days. I can easily look at the usual nz supplier options, but curious if there is anything uniquely short out there?

Span is one number but dihedral is very important.

Yes, have you tried the old Slingshot Dart, it's go so much 'V' that the wing span must be significantly shorter for the m2

Agree with above, it's just not span as said the greater the dihedral also helps as does pumping technique.

Any recommendationsfor brand/model? Well aware that technique helps. But when you are on the short side it's definitely makes things harder ??

I had a Naish Matador LT (powerful bottom end, uncontrollable top-end) which seemed compact. Further back the tips go more likely to catch water though
