Hello,
Anyone knows if the slingshot phantasm fuselage or wings are compatible with Sabfoil Masts (M82) / fuselage (710)?
Did anyone had a change to compare the PTM1001 with the W1110 ?
Or 950 with the PTM 926 ?
Thanks,
Max
I think you can attach the Sab Leviathan to the Phantasm fuse using a 6mm bolt inserted through a 6mm spacer (placed over the 8mm hole in the Leviathan), which goes through the 8mm hole in the Leviathan and into the 6mm hole in the fuse. I'll know in a couple of weeks when I pick up my 1550 -- I'll take my Phantasm fuse with me and give it a try (I have a number of different sized Phantasm masts so it sure would be convenient and cheaper if it works). ![]()
Check out the post below. Sound like better than anything currently on SAB or SlingShot offerings.

I have the SAB W799 which also requires those spacers and the fit is perfect on the 710. Had no issues with it
Hi.
I use WL 1350 with PTM. Use M6 screws with M6/M8 adapters. I plan buy second fuse and make M8 threat
Yesterday I recive PTM aluminium mast 72 cm, for learning dock start

Awesome, that's my plan this summer.
I remain confused about this WL1350.
Why did you buy it vs the regular W950 ? Is it for winging or just foil pumping ?
Why do you prefer it over the phantasm wings ?

For winging I use PTM 1001.
WL1350 I use for light wind, and learning dock start. I don't want buy second foil set , only use Phantasm fuse and mast.

I'm on Slingshot and am using the PTM1001 for light wing and the SABFoil Onda 835 for stronger wind and harder carving. Great combo.
I think I'll demo a Onda 945 next.
Shame the SABFoil rear stabs don't fit the Slingshot fuse. The fact that Slingshot only offer 1 stab to work with every foil for all conditions is a bit crap. SABFoil have 10 options to try.
How did you fit the SAB stab on the Phantasm fuse?

Well, it's two actually. The standard 400 plus the very nice 325 stab. Slingshot.
I have both 400 and 325 Phantasm rear wings and stick with the 400 for winging.
400 rear paired with the ptm926 and G800 and it covers 95% of local conditions, although I am waiting for the G700 for nuking days.

That's interesting. I don't use the 400 anymore since I have the 325. Can I ask you why you prefer the 400 for winging?

Converting Phantasm fuse from M6 to M8 for Leviathan wing. I have a few sesion on M6 bolts, and nothing happend, but don"t want to risk.

How much do you weigh and which front wings do you use?
Wind strength and water conditions play into for me, at 90kg the 325 rear wing can feel pitchy in 10-16 knots on Intercoastal's, on ocean/surf side the wind can have holes so having the larger surface area gives me more to drive off, the 325 turns a dime and makes transitions quicker but can feel twitchy in light and gusty winds.

I weigh 80kg and use mostly g900 ptm825. 325 with both.
I really like the speed and agility the 325 brings.
CoreAs you mentioned you use the 800 wing. Have you used it for windfoiling by chance. If so how is it in the waves.
@ulx sounds like a good combo, I need to test it with the ptm930 to see how it feels.
@boardhead, not yet! So many winging days lately and the G800 is awesome for high wind winging.

Hey Rewind,
They also have the smaller PS 325 rear wing which I have found much more fun and "carvey" prone and tow foiling. I have also heard there are more coming.

This works really well. I ran a Leviathan 1350 front wing on a Phantasm fuse all summer. I used M6 bolts. and the M6 to M8 Hardware adapter kit sold by Sabfoil. The adapter kit is not expensive. I didn't notice any weakness or issues with the connection. For set up you'll need three 35 mm M6 screws (and of course the adapter kit). A 40mm screw was too long for the Phantasm fuse.
