I got the Naish 4M as a backup kite for cheap when my S25 5M broke.

First off, I don't know how the 2020 4M compares to the S25 4M. So the comparison is a little off in that department.

The 4M feels like a toy compared to the S25 5M. It is not nearly as rigid, and the canopy flutters on the 4M in gusts. Never happens on the S25 5M. Also, The 4M trailing edge dips pretty wildly in gusts in a way that the 5M does not. Not sure if it is because the 5M is so much heavier or because of the airflow and design. It feels like the design of the 2020 4M is not as advanced as the S25 5M.

Wind range. Honestly, you'd think the 2020 4M would be better at higher winds, but (see above) I don't think that's the case. I need 3 more knots of wind to get on foil with the 4 and the fluttering and bucking at higher wind speeds feels weird after the supreme stability of the S25 5M.

Having said all that, the 2020 4M still has some things going for it.

I'm not 100% sure about this, but I think it might be my preferred surf wing. Because of how big and heavy the 5M is compared to the 4M, dealing with the 5M in the kill zone is not fun. It is going to be great for my kids (14 yo and 6 yo girls). It stuffs down into a bag and will be a great beach wing for teaching.

Funny thing, as I was writing this it sort of solidified my thoughts around this wing. Would I buy it again? I dunno. It was cheap, it stuffs into a bag, and the kids can play with it. If that isn't high on your list, you should probably stick to the S25 line - which is far superior in every way except the windows.

I wish they would make a version of the S25 without them.

Hope this helps someone.

Did you pump up the old Naish 4m to 12 PSI?

No, I didn't. I will try that. I was too lazy to look it up and just went with 10.
