Reedin out of the blue made a really good wing last year, so this year I was intrigued to see if they could build on what was a very good 2024 wing with the new SuperNatural 2025.

Also curious to hear your thoughts about how it compares to the PPC M1 you did a few months ago.
I have ridden the Nova Pro 2025. Although only for a single light wind session. Key differences there would be the Nova PRO is a lot heavier. So you do lose that light and playful feel and ease of rotations. The Nova PRO is slower to start moving and then slower to stop moving when putting it through transitions due to the weight. The Nova PRO does have an excellent tack, that's due to a tighter canopy and it being very efficient driving though the wind. It flies well but all of that is somewhat tainted by it being over built and too heavy, same for flagging out it's stable but feels heavy and tail draggy.
For comparison to the PPC M1 - really quite different wings. The PPC M1 is primarily very stiff, the Reedin is a softer wing and has a more forgiving feel to it due to that. The M1 is more rigid and heavier. Again the M1 flies well, not as good in the tack as the Nova PRO and probably a little better than the Reedin for tacking, not as playful. The M1 is fast though - which the Reedin isn't particularly and the M1 eats up riding powered.
In some respects the Nova PRO and the M1 are the same in that they are heavier wings and perform that way and both have tighter canopies - the Reedin is a very light wing and as such you get all the benefits of that light weight in playfulness and it just disappearing on the flag handle but it is a looser canopy and that effects it in the tack for cutting through the wind.

Thanks for the answer! I wonder how the M1-L would compare to the Reedin. The Reedin seems like a very expensive wing in Australia, actually more than the M1-L.
Also just curious, I know you had trouble getting going on the low end with the M1, do you think you can size up due to its stability when overpowered for a better low end?
I did about 10 miles on 2026 boomed pre-production. It's legit. SUCH a good wing! It was a 5.5m. I never flew the 2025 model, but I did like the 2024 that I tried. The 2026 is heaps better.

Or do you mean the current boom version and just call it 2026?
I ordered the boom version, 5.5m, then noticed the strut is a lot narrower between the attachment point for the boom than on the handle version. Any downsides?
Today I had my first session on the 3.8 2024 version. Incredible stuff. So light, playful and handled the 14-28 knots amazingly!! Very slippery in the air when foiling. My 5m is the gong droid x, so one of the heavy types, which is great for more directional riding. Different riding styles, but they make a great quiver.

One of the owners of Reedin lives near me part time, so I was able to test one of the pre-production 2026 wings. Those won't show until late spring. I hear the 2025 are awesome too, so if you can't wait that long, jump on one of the current ones.
I'll add that I was impressed by the boom. The wing is very light as well. This was a 5.5m. It tacks beautiful and has plenty of power... considering I was in sub 15 knots and on a 55L board and I'm 82kg. It's well balanced and very predicable. Looks great too. If I have to give any criticism is that I'm used to boomed wings where the boom is much closer to the canopy. This means that riding backwinded is a little different on these wings where the boom hangs lower. So it means I have to control it partially by the strut itself when backwinded. But most people don't backwind, so this may not matter much.
