I have the Armstrong foil gear been looking at getting FG Wing board 5'8 moving from 5'8 sky wing board just wondering how stable the FG wing board would be with its Double concave bottom compared to fanatic flat bottom..
Age is not on my side. Would the Armstrong FG boards be a game changer. Looking at board to be stable to get back on in ocean chop. I find the fanatic sky ok set fully for would and stable.

Shim your mast base on the fanatic so it is flat, then choose.
Fanatic and Armstrong stock not a good match.
I just picked up a 5'8 Armstrong and tried yesterday in light wind. I am mid 60s and just getting back after 5 month layoff. Been riding a 5'2 wing board and am looking at one board to wing and sup. 85 kgs.
First impressions are very positive. It is light so easy to carry. It rides like a smaller board with the mast tracks well forward. It gets up to speed fast and onto the foil. If you ride Armstrong then I think it is worth a look and will be money well spent.
Had naish hover 110, and rode 90 quatro, bought armstrong fg 88, armstrong rides small compared to quatro, which i thought was as stable as naish 110, the thinner rails on fg are quite tippy but after couple sessions lovn it.
