Does anyone here use this wing?
I was able to test a 4.5 today. I'm on Nova '23 wings currently. But I always like to test some other new gear.
This wing feels horrible.. the position of the handles is completely off. I was able to wing with both hands on the front handle. The back handle only works (a little) when the back hand is completely towards the frontside of the handle. The wing pulls allot on the front hand. I saw a review where someone was saying the same, but I didn't expect it to be this bad. Also the wing felt really unstable. I was out with a 4.5, wind was a solid 20 kn. In half an hour I was back on my nova 4.2 smooth ride. This wing looks great, the materials... everything looks right.
I'm wondering, what is going on and does someone own this wing?
perhaps the inflation was severely off? sounds weird for it to be so bad!
I remember my first go on the Duotone Echo (after having the OG Foil Wing) and I was like this thing is way worse... but then realized later I set the boom 10cm too short lol.
Sounds to me like the wing was over powered and doesn't like to be over it's wind range. Maybe you should try it again when winds are in the teens.
