Thumbs Up

I'm headed to the Northwest coast of Puerto Rico in Feb. I've only been there as a surfer so I don't really know the best spots to wing foil. Never had to worry about 85 cm of "fin" below me around reefs either. I'll be near Jobos, Shacks, etc.

Anyone have any tips for an intermediate wing foiler going to be around reef break and tradewinds (cross shore) for the first time as a wing foiler? And more specifically about where to go NW PR?

I'll also be prone foiling but yeah I guess the reef thing has me a little worried...

Jobos usually breaks outside, after the shorebreak and a green water deep spot, before the waves.
Obviously, not in the wind shadow of the Hillside.
Just push past the shorebreak and go. Being holey and sideshore, lots of beach, it's fine.
Domes is normally too lite on the inside, but ok in NNE wind when it wraps in.
The beack breaks are very lite inside, shorepound.
I'm usually way out E of San Juan from mid Dec to mid Jan
