I want to keep progressing my winging and am looking for suggestions on things to try next. Anybody ever catalog a list of maneuvers with a natural progression cycle? For example here is some of my progression (please add to this):
gybing
toe side tacks
duck gybes (actually still not nailing these)
luffed 360s (toeside tack)
backwinded riding
carved 360s (toeside tack)
heelside tacks
Basic jumps
what am I missing and where should I keep progressing? Would love to see how others progressed.
Practicing your wrong leg forward stance is great advice!
I'd move the heelside tack up on the list and add pumping on swells/chops or even flat water parallel to it, great fun!
If you got that down look into popping / popping toeside. The easiest aerial rotation is a toeside downwind 180 or toeside Vulcan. Its just popping up toeside, not going too fast, and turning your body back into natural position before landing (and switching hands somewhere).
