Phantom 95 cm mast (and 90 cm windfoil fuselage) in the box.
Apart the adaptor to convert the Tuttle into double rail box, any idea how to adapt wing foil fuselage of other brands in order to use bigger wings than Phantom 1000 cmq and shorter fuselage?

I acquired one of these with a broken fuse connector. Cut the end off and modified it to fit Axis fuse. At 95cm It's a beast of a mast. So stiff but heavy. Would post a pic but my iPad won't seem to let me do it.

Thx.
So far the idea would be t use it both in wind and wing foiling. Shortening it feels a bad idea for that purpose.
I'm just starting to inform about wing foiling but it seems stiff carbon masts are the go-to for "fast" wing practices (frerride, slalom,...) ?
Still no clue if wind and wing foiling need same mast profiles or this happens only to optimize the $$ invested

p.s. measuring the Phantom mast "connector", it's roughly like 19 cm x 2 cm x 1,5 cm

Just to point out: You dont need a carbon mast for wing foiling. I think 90+% of the riders would be fine on alu. Especially carbon windfoil masts are way way overbuilt for wingfoiling as the forces are much lower. The only really good reason in my opinion (other than just having the cash to spare) to go carbon is if you're bending alu masts when jumping. In terms of torsional stiffness and weight carbon masts aren't necessarily better than a good alu, and since with winging the stance is very centered bending stiffness is not as important as in windfoiling. Especially given most people dont push their setup at all.

I believe phantom is coming with a wing lineup, maybe send them a message? You might just be able to get a phantom wing fuselage and get going. Especially if you already windfoil you dont need a wing much bigger than 1000cm2 (1400cm2 would be nice to start), also since its a high aspect race wing which should be very efficient in the low-end.

No, Phantom wing foil kits (Bliss, Strato, Drift) will get a dedicated mast/fuselage new connection.
Construction will range from standard T700 to UHM m40j.

Yes, with some extra cash I could buy an alu wing foil kit. I just wondered if Phantom could fit in other brands fuselage.

So heres some photos of the mod. The original mast was about 105. I cut it down to 95. The axis fuse adapter was made with glass (dont want carbon against aluminium) and I put release wax on the fuse and pushed the laminate into it. Gotta be real careful to make sure you get the fuse angle at exactly 0 degrees at the horizontal. I added a couple of M8 barrel nuts. This mast is an absolute BEAST. There is NO FLEX . BUT it is heavy so thats the price you pay for such a stiff mast. I only did this because I was given the broken mast, otherwise not worth it IMHO.
