Our wingfoil discussions are getting a bit tangled-threads on gear, events, techniques, and more all live in the same catch-all. To make it easier to find and follow specific topics, I'd like to suggest we introduce sub-categories under the main Wingfoil forum.
For example:
Wingfoil
1.General Discussion
2.Gear Reviews & Recommendations
3.Parawing
4.Competitions,Championships & Video Highlights
5. Off Topic/Other
Would love your feedback on this structure-any other sub?categories you'd add or rename?
.... And does anyone know how to get in touch with the SeaBreeze admin to request these changes?

This came up before but clearly PW has serious momentum now. I like the way the progression forum allows you to browse by category or all. Would be nice if you could customize your feed vs having to navigate to separate forums.
The other sub-disciplines (wind-surfing, kite-surfing, SUP) have sub-disciplines, so it seems like it would be feasible to add categories under wing-foiling. Simplicity has its advantages. It's unlikely that this site will offer customizable feeds like the progression project, which, fwiw, I find a bit confusing.
We could argue about what goes where, but it might not be terribly important. E.g. if you look at the sub-categories "Foiling" (under wind-surfing, kite-surfing & SUP), we see an example where the sub-category is distinct, meanwhile if you look at the sub-category "Wing-foiling" under "SUP", we see an example where the sub-category is actually crossed-linked.
My final comment is that perhaps an additional sub-category called "Downwinding" should be considered. This could be cross-linked from * as well.
This is a valuable site and credit goes to the maintainers.

Agree FranP, the menu hierarchy needs a revamp. For example most Prone Foiling threads are under SUP > Foiling, so you need to scratch around to look for what you are after
Perhaps something like
1 Foiling
1.1 Wing
1.2 Parawng
1.3 Downwind / SUP
1.4 Prone / Tow / Boogie
1.5 Kite
Sub categories at the next level as required, preferably the same across all categories.
The sport of foiling is evolving so quickly there is likely more foil related discussion than the other categories combined.
There is more than 1 way to slice the forum menu and its definately configurable given the existing menu structure. It would make sense for a change sooner rather than later to get the topics aligned with the categories.
+ 1 for a new menu.
I would do something like this:
Wingfoil (solitude, not under Sup)
1.General Discussion
2Technique/ how to
3.wing gear Reviews & Recommendations
4.Parawing
5.Competitions,Championships & Video Highlights
Or revamp the wholoe bunch and day
Foil:Windsurf foil
Kite foil
Supfoilsurf/prone foil
Wingfoil
Parawing and then per sport:

Less is more. Simple structure. One topic "Foiling" with a subtopic picked at post creation and the ability for the viewer to filter. I could choose All Posts or one sub topic or several subtopics. Like Active Posts is now.
One Forum: "Foiling"
then a topic for each aaaah topic.
For eg I could add a topic regarding "3 blade or 2 blade propellers for foil drives"
one forum for sure. its already one too many with the sup foiling separate.

Yeah if the admins are watching this thread then I vote to keep it all as one, also combine sup foiling and winging, there's tons of crossover in all elements of foiling
