Maybe just rename this "Wing Foiling" forum to "Parawing Foiling", does anyone still wing?

99% of us still wing. Parawinging is just the current squeaky wheel.

There is already a thread on this topic, you should have just posted on that. Now all you've done is start another thread on parawings in a forum where you want to get rid of parawing threads

No. It's not kite foiling. Laurie should create a section for it. I remember begging for a kite foil section and they grudgingly created "foil and racing" in the kite boarding section before eventually creating a kite foil space.

Probably you're already familiar with this;

Pretty Euro-centric and dominated by a few "check me" types but still tons of info to be gleaned.

Id prefer a seperate section also.

Sfunny (as ive said elsewhere) that i now see 90% of the media on parawinging but 90% in reality Wing?

Where i live its 0% parawing ...of course its early days and this might change (i didnt think Winging would take off as it has and im all over it for the last 3 years) but this does remind me of the DW (paddle up) thing, when it too was everywhere in the media and industry but i suspect about 0.001% of the global foil buying public do it.

Prefer separate as well. I'm stoked for the parawing stuff myself but it doesn't have to be for everyone and this is the only wing forum I know of so it's a bummer to overwhelm it with parawing stuff.

You're dead on with the DW paddle and Parawing content. Very exciting and new but wingers still dominate the global market I'd expect!

This forum would be dead without the parawing content. Discussed before add thoughts here www.seabreeze.com.au/forums/Wing-Foiling/Wind-Wings/Parawing-sub-forum-and-other-sub-categories

I don't see a need to separate it, many of us doing parawing are also winging - all of the parawingers at my beach are also hand wingers. They didn't come from kiting. So it suits me (and probably others like me) that it is all in one place.Parawing is currently quite new so there is a lot to talk about, over time it will settle down and I expect hand wing content will once again be more prevalent.

There are more PWing threads than winging at the moment but it doesn't have to stop wing foiling discussion. After a while there's not that many new general topics to discuss with winging as it's been around for a while. Maybe after a year we'll have run out of conversation about PWing?

Imagine if kiters wanted a seperate forum for foil kites as opposed to inflatables.

Parawings are wings and are ridden by wingers with so many equipment and location topics in common.

String wings, leave them here so winging is all in one place please.

Parawing is here to stay for many current and future bump and wave riders. I even prefer it as a mode of just travelling around over the wing now.
