I haven's seen much on this topic. It seems like I am always repairing my wings, either replacing bladders, or fixing tears in the canopy.
Have users of parawings been experiencing any tears in the canopy from foils hitting them. It seems like that would not be an issue in a parawing since when they hit the water the canopies are loose so if the foil its it, nothing will happen.
What have been the issue you have been experiencing.
I have fallen off back of board and shot board into pw while still holding it and torn a little rib. This has happened a couple times.
The laser cut edges are painfully fragile. I'm not even sure how I tore mine. I repaired it with a super tough, sticky, sail tape. I might just go ahead and reinforce all of them before my next session.
Certain ones (I can't say names but we talking about the most popular one) can develop tears on the line attachment points on the laser cut edges. sail tape won't do it. As it is a very stressed area particularly when deployed. Any reputable sail cloth repairer can apply a reinforcement patch on the area.
its a very easy and effective fix
