Improvements I'd like to see made to parawing belt:
I have the BRM belt:
I'd like to see a zipper so I can secure the pouch and not have to worry about the parawing slipping out (I have lost a 2.9m because it fell out of the belt without me noticing.
The pouch should be twice as large as to easily store 2 parawings. (Make it deeper by a few inches).
Have a divider in the pouch to keep 2 parawings contained 1 on each side.
Add padding to the belt. It really digs into back when using a harness. (I like the foam material on the Ozone Wing Waist Padded Belt).
Use better material on the buckle belt similar to the Ozone Wing Waist Padded Belt. Something that does not get all stretched and misshapen from using a harness hook.
Built in kite knife for safety.
Attachment point on each side for a board/parawing leash. (Also will need a more robust buckle something like on the Ozone Wing Waist Padded Belt).
Looks like ozone has some added features:

Still want to see the following added:
1.
Zipper to close the pouch. Can't trust a Velcro to stay closed and save my $1000 Parawing from falling out when I'm riding to never be seen again.
2.
Bigger pouch with divider to contain 2 Parawings. Smaller wind range means need to take 2 Parawings on the water to switch back and forth.
3.
Not sure how much padding this belt has but when using the harness with the BRM belt it didn't provide enough support leading to soreness. Want some nice foam padding support.
Please give us a deluxe version.

Hey thanks for sharing this info. The parawing pouch/ belt is definitely something that needs some refinement.
I have been thinking of a kind of 2 stage stashing setup. A stretchy elastic pouch for basic stowing when you want to be able to launch it again easily. The second stage would then lock it down so it's totally secure and wouldn't come loose even in heavy use situations such as solid breaking surf.
first stage is pretty easy and really already available with the stretchy pouch belts that are already being offered by a few companies. The second stage would need a quick lock mechanism to fully secure the wing quickly. A zipper would be good but zips usually need 2 hands to work them. I had been thinking of a compression strap that squeezes down on the wing and locks it in place. You would only need to grab the end of the strap and yank on it to lock the wing down. Relaunch would then take 2 hands but the locking down could be very quick and one handed.
Interesting to see that ozone is offering an additional extra bar clip with their para belt. I definitely like the idea of keeping the bar separate when stowing. I guess our own seabreeze local @sheps was onto something with the bar clips he's been making and now the big brands are following suit.
Really I think when we can get parawings locked down securely very quickly and reliably that will open up riding in proper big surf. If you could whip in from way out the back and super quickly get your wing locked in so it can never come loose then you'd be your own jetski driver doing tow foil whip ins. ![]()

My current setup to carry 2 parawings: Ka'a 2.9m & 3.6m. Added some bungie cord to the BRM packs to tether to belt. No worries about losing when riding hard!
Ozone belt is super comfy and super great quality. Miles better than BRM option:
