Does the higher AR Parawings (i.e. morph/pocket rocket) necessitate a higher point of sail (broad/beam reach) for efficient momentum generation when getting onto foil?

been having great success with the 4.2m dwing, but finally had the winds to try out the Naish Morph 3m at rufus (30-35g40+) on a quick weekend send. after much frustration trying a broad->running reach (which works great with the dwing) and not generating much forward momentum, I played with a more beam-> broad reach (similar to an inflatable wing). Found a bit more success, getting on to foil multiple times, but not without a properly timed gust. Obviously this isn't taking into account board/foil choice (95kg, -20L ml, ha780), but hoping to tease out the nuisances via the foilbrains on here.

Last Saturday at Rufus was no place for a 3M Pwing. Was it later in the day? I've been riding a -30L board recently with a 3M at the Hatchery, Rufus and Dougs and it takes a solid 25mph to get up. Unfortunately 30mph is about max and even that's a stretch for going upwind (I'm 90Kg). Once my 85L shows up next week I won't be using the 60L anymore.

Regarding your question, yes taking off on a beam or bit of a broad reach seems helpful and my Pwing is one of the higher aspect brands. Unfortunately I haven't compared any others.
