Got to test my 5m Wasp V2 wing today in 12 to 18 knots on Swan river Perth in gusty SE winds. Wing ate it up and extremely light in hand/ and super neutral in flight- but sheet in or pump and instant power and float. Canopy is tight and rigid more like a contoured fixed wing when you pump up to 6psi. Way, way improved bottom-end compared to V1. V2 doesn't over-sheet at all and cranks up wind and then floats perfectly on bumps downwind. Build is next level. A very pretty wing. So easy to fly. Window's are surprisingly easy too see through( haven't really used windows before)and really liked them a lot, as the river was super busy today due to Easter weekend, with lots of large fast boats passing everywhere. New waist leash excellent. My only complaint is they have taken away the second front handle so you can't do powered bottom turns as easy as it was onto bumps or waves any more, ahhh... so you can really only float wing off front your hand in turns(boring as bro). IMO this is a big mistake and sucks for me the way I like to wing. I'm going have to work out a fix. Otherwise superb upgrade from V1. Winging just got way easier.

Yeh that's weird no second handle. Figured not people use it for simplicity.

Yeah the more I ride mine the more I love it, the power increase on the 4m is noticeable and I think has almost made my 5m redundant. Given how much more power has been trimmed to the front handle I think a 2nd front handle would maybe have too much loading to be usable? Big evolution from the V1 that's for sure, excited to see what the coming years bring.

I can only imagine that the 6m will be a beast in light winds

Some V2's in town. Agree with Gradient after third session on V2 in 10 to 20 knots on the 5m that you can down size to smaller wing than usual or use a smaller front foil as the V2wing as it has so much more usable power across its entire range.

stll love to have the second handle in the bottom end of the V2 wings range.
