Has anyone had any issues with the Ocean Rodeo Glide bursting at the seams. Before you lay out an incredible amount of cash on these be mindful if something goes wrong you will not get a warranty but you will be accused of cutting them on your foil, shell, scallop or even barnacle.

So Ocean Rodeo refused warantee and called you a liar? Certainly doesn't sound like what they would say in my experience.
How did it blow?
How would the hole through the canopy in the last photo be caused by the seam bursting on the leading edge
More likely foil poked that hole, before busting open the leading edge
I haven't seen any Aluula just "burst at the seams".
I have seen some that look like that when they have been damaged though.
Who did you contact about a warranty claim?
Looks like something has penetrated through the canopy and pierced the LE, causing the blowout, which will then follow the seams.
Ocean Rodeo are very good with their warranty process.
So is there any further information to how this damage occured?

I have Roam Aluula 5m and 8m kites as well as 4, 5, and 6m Aluula Glide. I am very happy with the performance of the product. The only issue I have is the blowout of the 4m which was used for the second time. After hitting a turtle which is quite common on a foil in North Queensland I fell forward and into the water. About to get back on my board and pulled hard on the wrist leash which is a coil duotone leash, leading edge of the wing smacked into the nose of the board and she blew. No it did not touch the foil as it was where it should be which is in the water. Kite Power and Adams Kite repair are the guys I am dealing with

What was the outcome of this? Were you able to get it repaired?
