Hi all,
Just putting the feelers out to say 'hello' and see if there are any wing foilers in Melbourne/Bellarine with whom I can communicate, bounce ideas, learn a few things! I live close to the CBD south-side (Southbank/Sth Melb/Port Melb), and spend a fair bit of time down the Bellarine as well. My goal and desire, eventually, is to use the wind to catch and surf swells and waves in the Bay and down around Point Lonsdale and Ocean Grove. My dream is surfing a solid swell for several hundred metres off Point Lonsdale as it curls in through the heads and into the main beach from the ocean! 
I haven't surfed as much the last couple of years but ride a longboard 95% of the time and will be getting back into it more regularly again soon. I'm upper novice/low intermediate I guess (compared to the pros anyway!).
For all in the area, I don't yet have any gear and am looking to enter the game soon but will have to be patient as I have to start with a significantly lower budget than a new setup would cost.
Am looking for a board 115 litres+ (I'm 38, 179cm, 86kg) - hoping to find something in the $700-1000 range
A wing 5m+ (hoping around $500)
and a suitable beginner foil that may also be suitable for the swells - hoping around $700-1000
I've got a couple of ppl who are helping me assess gear from afar. If you have any gear that you think may be suitable, feel free to PM me
Pretty pumped to get stuck into it! Only hear amazing things and it looks like a dream sport for me in a lot of ways.

I'd recommend a 5m for learning..
