I tried using my hook straight onto my leash belt, found it not very comfortable when loaded up. But does work. I like the ability to spin the hook round.
Nice one DJ.

I have been using a kite harness spreader bar on my Axis waist leash and it works ok.
JB, where can I get the Naish handle harness line in Melbourne?
I have been using a kite depower loop and it keeps hitting me in the face.
Dakine make a short hook that slides over a webbing strap - from the Maniac sliding spreader bar / kite harness, dates back a bit . Not sure how avail it is, I had to get mine from overseas, from murrays.com I think

That's what mine is..

Nice video David! On a side note, have you ever weighed your Naish 125? Trying to find out its weight.
Cheers
Is that the new 2021 wing Jonathan?
My wing is the 2020 S25 WingSurfer in the 3.6 size.

I'll weight and let you know.. It feels super light.
Where does one get the short hook?
A friend ordered a couple on line from the US.. It's the DaKine Maniac sliding hook.

Kite republic has access to them, or you can get them through our website - www.windgenuity.com.au/products/wingsurfer/
The Mono line is nice and stiff. Can be a little long for some, but the idea is you can still bring your wing up (i.e. when over powered). I like to do a full loop around the handle then thread it through which makes it smaller and still very stiff.
I think a wider belt would be good, but on a long journey and with strong winds, I think you'll find the leash belt uncomfortable.
Ride safe,
JB
