Anyone using the Naish hover S26 95, any thoughts on it, did you step down to this size?
I'm using this board. Came from a Gong 120l 6'6". I weigh 85kg ish and I love this board. A lot less weight under your feet and less effort to get onto the foil than the Gong. Obviously not as much margin for error in the gybe but quickly got used to it.
I'm using it. I came down from a (giant) Hover Crossover 120. It is a really great board. I weigh 70kg and I'm 5' 8''. Super light, pops up fast. Could probably use it for prone surfing since it paddles pretty well - though I have a different board for that.
I moved from a NSP 110l to the Hover. Same size as Crashflow. Great board and easy transition. Even a slightly smaller board goes faster and better upwind.
I have the 95 and love it. It's just enough volume that if the wind shuts down, I'm not suffering getting back. It comes up quick, has held up well and is in the top tier of lighter boards. It's really well thought out and the lines flow. Nothing is super exaggerated in its shape.
The nose is super thin so minimal weight and it's function is simply to keep you from pearling. I do a test whenever I borrow a board. I'll jibe low and bury a rail to see if it catches and I'll bounce the nose down to see if catches or just bounces back up off the water. It passes w flying colors.
My only personal complaint is I like a narrow stance. I wish the back strap holes came forward another 2". But that's all I got. I would classify it as a FSW, "Freestyle Wave" board, to use some windsurf jargon.
Thanks guys appreciate the feedback.
looks all positive and put it at the top of the list. my only thought is it might of been a jump from a 125lt hover. Cheers.
I'm just in the process of downsizing from my S25 95ltr. Been a great board, no dings or damage from 18 months of use. I'm 80 kg and it's never an issue getting back to the beach in a lull, might be different on my new 78ltr board. great value for money if you can get one.

Ok I have the same board and I love it! I have prone foiled it (1st session as no good surf / conditions etc), then I have sup surfed it with great success (only on small waves), I am yet to Wind Ding sup it but I think it should be good.
I want to know what a "Freestyle Wave board" is / how different it is better or worst compared to another board etc?:-)

Just some windsurf jargon. Basically, I think there are some boxier boards that might come up sooner, but they suffer catching a rail and jumping so I would call them the slalom boards of foiling. ![]()
Hey @Johndesu can you really Stand up Paddle it? I haven't tried it - seems super small...
I have the 125, I tried to stand up paddle it, just went round in circles. I still fancy trying it in some nice swell.

Yes you can stand up paddle it but I am light 65kg or less and on smooth / small waves but "tinka" up in Noosa has an 85L Naish & he is closer to 70kg and he can surf it well (but is is experienced:-)
