Not much on these boards so I'll give my experience.
Me 74kg, Duotone dlabs and Axis ART pros 951 and 1051 with skinny 359 x 40 rear wing.
While the board may seem wide compared with many in other posts it is a perfect fit for me. I have demoed similar lengths and narrower.
My board is 5.7kg so total kit is reasonable light. I was on a 105l Fanatic TE and became reasonably good at pumping.
The Naish 105 DW was instantly amazing, extremely easy to get the ART pros up foiling and comfortable in all the conditions I foil so under 9kn upto 30kn . Sloppy choppy water no issues.
While other DW boards may be a bit faster to get up on the foil I didn't feel there was much in it, and they were not as comfortable in Sloppy water.
This board is a keeper for me.
So as always demo if you can.
I have the same board and have found it fantastic. I am 83kg. It has enabled me to size down my front wing and hand wing in most conditions. In really light conditions I still use a 7m CWC. I haven't used my fat board for months. It does require a bit more balancing in chop than a wide board but I have got used to it and it's not an issue. I can chug around looking for a gust when the wind disappears in the middle of winter quite comfortably. The larger 125L version is much more stable but has more windage and isn't as nice to ride once on foil, especially in high winds. Even though a bit wider the 125 pops up even more easily.
I also like this board as I can fit it diagonally in my ute canopy. Some downwind boards are too long and need to be on the roof rack. I use North foils and they fit nicely in the tracks.
The easy start and touchdown recovery has enabled me to practice gybes and foot swaps a lot more as recovering from hundreds of failed attempts takes less effort.
Some of the other downwind boards are narrower and possibly even more efficient but my local Naish dealer was really helpful and had demo boards which meant I could try the board out before purchase. I haven't ridden any other downwind style boards to compare, but vs my 98L North Seek 5'1" this board is a much easier to start and doesn't drag on touch downs. The length gives quite a bit of stability.
I think this board is a slightly more conservative approach to the Barracuda style board which makes it versatile for winging in flatwater, chop and small waves. I think if I was trying to SUP it would be too small for my skill level.
