Nice parking...... Is that a DJ trick? How much wind that day? Doesn't look like very much at all. If I knew what I was doing should I be able to get on the foil with my 97kg belly and a 2450 foil and 6mtr wing in similar wind speed?

Ha.. After so many years of windsurfing and being able to slide the board up the beach.. stepping off.. and staying dry it's hard to get used to jumping off early in the cold and deep water.. Brrrr.

Yes it was very light.. Maybe 8-10 knots and no sign of a whitecap.. Ok for the light weight guys but for me around the 100kg mark it took a bit of pumping to get up on the foil.. Once up it was fine.

You should be fine with the big 2450 and 6m but pumping the wing and foil together is like trying to rub your stomach in circles while patting yourself on the head at the same time..

That sounds like coordination. Not my strongest point. Looks like a long haul ahead especially in lighter winds. cheers

Yeh has anyone worked out a practical method to get out the water without wetting your wing. Wings totally dry from a good session and right when you get out - bloody wet again hence needs drying again!
