Hi
I understood that for downwind foiling you are supposed to use a 70-75 mast, for ease of take off and less drag. I was wondering If you would choose the same type of mast for parawinging (upwind downwind) or if you keep a 85 mast to be more confortable upwind ?
Thanks

I think 80 cm is a very popular size, though 5 cm up or down is probably good enough. 70 cm seems to short if you go upwind through big bumps

I think 80 is the most popular size where I'm at but I don't think I'll ever ride longer than 75 again. You just get good at doing the pump track game of going up and down the swell instead of trying to straight line through it.

Thanks for the answers. I dont think the brand im aiming for has a 80 but they have a 77 that should do the trick
