This new video about Malo Guenole is quite interesting, it takes the time to detail a lot of things, for instance on the physical training for teenagers to avoid injuries later on, how the internet videos acted as an emulation between the young riders, what it is to be on the bleeding edge on a news sport, how to be coached even though nobody has already done what he (and his generation of new riders) is doing, how to prepare for contests...
Note also how the "Bac", the exam at the end of high school in France is still very important, as lots of jobs require it.
... and also a glimpse of some Gong prototypes... that may or may not go in production.
Thanks! Malo is really a sweet quiet kid. It is great that his father took care that his "larger than life" figure did not mess up his kid.
PS: Just saw the typo in my title. I meant "Trajectory" of course, but I cannot edit it anymore.
If you are interested, you can ask any questions to Patrice and Malo on the Gong Facebook group www.facebook.com/groups/174002002631963/permalink/6148596151839155/ , they will respond on Feb 7th.
Great film! I enjoyed watching with my 8 year old son, although he has zero interest in water sports (other than swimming). Good for him to see what's possible!!
Does anyone know which foil was Malo using in freestyle competitions?
I read somewhere he used Fluid before but I wonder if he was using Fluid H now.

I think he went from Fluid T to Fluid H to Ypra-s. Could be mistaken.
Since I first started winging in 2019 (mostly with Gong foils), I've seen maybe 2 other wingers using Gong foils here on the east coast of the US and no one at all in Australia (Vic and NSW). One guy from Spain walked up to me in Torquay completely surprised I was riding a Gong foil. I'm sure there are a lot in Europe
