CNC Aluminium Fuselage prototype in order to bolt the front wing directly into the mast.
This is good for removing the front / rear loads to the tracks in the board. I have said since the beginning this is how the front wing should be mounted rather than adapting to suit windsurfing boards early on. It would have stopped all the Brocken fin boxes.
Question: is there enough adjustment in most production boards to allow the mast to mount further forward with this adaptor?
I burst out laughing when he said $160USD.
Try in WA where the machine shops are so busy doing big mining jobs, they'd charge a few hundred for a one off like that. Only If you know someone who can spare the machine time and you supplied material
But good on him - ripper idea.
As to positioning, you just need somebody who can retrofit longer stronger tracks huh
Built how it should have been originally......
Eg:
MOzCustoms
Can put in tracks but not make pics work on seabreeze.....
