Yesterday I had a nice session with an old friend who drove a long way to join me and a couple of local friends just getting started on their wing-ding journey..

Yes.. I still keep going back to the big HA 2140.. I love it.

I'm old, heavy and a bit wobbly on my feet.. My goal is to make things easy-peasy and the 2140 gives early lift and lots of stability without being too draggy.

Bummer about your cold weather.. brrrrr.. I love the big 6m Matador LT because of its low end grunt.. I also love the three long handles.

It's my session saver foil. I'm 75 kg's and when it super light I break it out. Once you're up, you're up, crazy stall speed. As you've stated, it's surprisingly fast for such a large foil. I was consistently cruising at 15 mph and hit 17 without even putting the pedal down in some waist high waves the other day. I'll put the pedal down next time just to see what it will do. I like it w the 220 stab.

Yup the Matador is a chunky wing, that center strut!, and I agree with you it's one of the good wings that has handles you can grab - I just need to get one now

Sorry I didn't get to bump into you during our stay in Melbourne. We'll be back next Dec for 3 months ( instead of 2) so hopefully the odds will improve that we cross paths! Port Phillip Bay had so many great winging spots
