Congrats to the two local groms Paddy and Antman finishing second and third. Not quite enough skill and experience to get Bastion but they are hot on his heels.

Great effort from the young blokes. Antman is starting to put on some muscle!
Yeh and a 13 yr old teenage attitude to boot ![]()
hey we are up your way soon. Catch up for a beer of four Dave.
No just the little tacker. Bud they are both thick as thieves .. The big lads dad came fifth so must be something in the family genes lol. Was a great race by all. Credit goes to all the paddlers though - damn that looks hard work.
The boys were on 72 mast, FG prone boards, 725 front / chopped 233 (212) tails and 60 fuse.
Bastion was on Patrick gear - a 50 litre semi sinker, something like a 500cm squared front, flat tail with pronounced tips for tracking, a 95cm mast (built for wind foiling so super stiff) and 75cm fuse. (sorry don't know his exact sizes). You add in his extraordinary skills and experience the two boys did extremely well.
it was awesome watching those three at it.
be awesome if the lads had 525s and the HA tail but alas they aren't here yet ![]()
