Hi folks,

What's your preferred vest/harness setup. Do you have a combined vest with a harness like the Forward WIP 50N or do you run a separated setup? Pros and Cons of either setup?

Thanks in advance!

After 2 years of use and still going:
- Great quality
- cheaper than duotone/ion or mystic
- never creeps up like my O'Neill comp slasher impact vest
- hook is well positioned
- board leash at the back with a QR (buy separate)
- N50 floatation standard
- still looks like new

Minor negative. The hook is connected to an inner belt, and between my back and the belt there is no support to spread the load. I cut out a thin (2mm) oval piece of plastic and now have the belt running through, so that I have added support. No complaints. Works.

I have a Mystic Endure. I never used a harness with a wing before and didn't want to, but had to use one to make it through a long windy holiday. I am glad I did, because it saved my hands. Coming from windsurfing, I was skeptical of the high hook and the belt running through the back providing enough support, but it feels completely natural with a 26" windsurfing monoline. A real gamechanger for going upwind.

I'm 100% with you. I've been using the Endure vest for about a year now and I'm extremely satisfied. It's also a game changer for upwind riding when parawinging, with a very comfortable pressure distribution. Thumbs up!

I'd make sure to rinse the zip with fresh water. Also, I wish the padding extended to the waist as well. But other than that, I don't know how I managed to ride without a harness for all that time.
