Just buy a cheap weight lifters belt for $20 on amazon , slide a plastic hook on and you're good to go.
You can attach leashes to webbing that goes round padded part. Mines done 2 1/2 yrs no problem. Don't need photos, look at amazon weight lifting waist belts.

I just use garden rope (6mm) and connection system from old windsurfing harness lines.
For others wings without boom I just use stainless steel carabins to connect to the loops of the wing.
I use them for 2 years without any problems.
Now I just bought Denima rope which I will use as wing leash.
I've been experimenting with regular bungee rather than dyneema and pressure tubing. The dyneema and tubing tends to swing a lot and can get annoying during tacks etc. I started using 4 mm bungee but have progressed to 8mm now. It doesn't swing and sticks out so easy to hook onto. A nice plus is I can jump without unhooking, even pump after the jump as the bungee just stretches and contracts as you pump.
Still work in progress but promising, the bungee handles the hook without damage and adjustments is currently just adding another knot in the end. I have them fitted to Slicks and Units.

This was supposed to be a temporary solution, but it turned out to be good enough so I didn't bother getting anything better. Cheap and infinitely adjustable.
Some PVC tubing, some rope I had lying around and that's it. It does bounce around when pumping the wing, but I just keep it under the thumb of my back hand and it stays nicely put. The knots are some abomination I cooked up, but a constrictor knot should work fine here.

Look at the SOS windsurf harness knot. I do it similar like nara and use this knot. Perfect and cheap. Hold it with the thumb while pumping too.

Thanks for all the advice how did you work out the length and positioning on a hard handle wing like a unit cheers thanks again
I was just about to give away my age by talking about the old old windsurf lines DIY knot. Lucky someone did already.
Just a clove hitch with a lump to stop it slipping thru, easy to adjust.
What sorta length seems to be the go for most folks?
I'm not a fan of the hitch to attach harness lines. It tends to chew grooves into the grip.
If you have rigid handles you can remove the screw from one end and fit conventional windsurf harness lines.
I used some old velcro windsurf attachments. I removed the existing rope and replaced it with a short loop and knot on one side, and a loop with a long tail on the other. The long tail is so I can have multiple or movable knots for adjustment.
I have a length of urethane tube and a piece of dyneema with loops spliced at both ends. I lark's head one loop around the knots on each attachment and go ride.
The urethane tube makes the harness line fairly stiff so it's easy to steady it with a finger or two on the handle. That's handy for hooking in or holding it out of the way when pumping.
For a hook I carved one out of a piece of high density polyethylene, basically cutting board material. It works ok on a conventional waist belt.
I made a waist harness modelled on the Dakine Solo wing harness. That's very comfortable and more robust than a waist belt.
I have the harness lines as short as they go. It's it bit shorter than the traditional wrist-to-elbow windsurfing length.
I started with 1m length rope. Knots I tied that I could easily adjust rope length. When you find the length you are comfortable, you just cut unnecessary part. But I prefer longer one that I could lift the wing without unhooking if big wing gust comes.
