Ive been wing foiling over the past two years on my old gear and would love to upgrade, but with a limited budget I am looking for suggestions of what to upgrade first to get the best improvements. Ive got to the point that I can gybe and foil out the other side, but am still working on mastering swapping my feet after the gybe. I weight about 85kg.
I am currently using 2018 Blue Planet Easy Foiler 6'6 x 28.6 x 116L (deep tuttle mount for foil)
Neil pryde glide surf large foil (1612 cm2) (either deep tuttle or plate mount)
Wasp 5m V1 wing
I am probably looking at getting new to me used kit, so what should I look to replace first and what should i replace it with?
Budget is as little as possible, but I am willing to pay for or weight for a good deal on better quality option. Wind is typically 15 to 20 knots on a Dunedin harbour with short chop
Easiest & cheapest upgrade for you would be to pick up a Neil Pryde HP wingset front and rear - it will fit your current fuselage. Major upgrade in performance over the blue NP wings and tails. Way more glide, more efficient, easier to get up, faster. And you could prolly find them used for pretty cheap. And they have a new HA foil coming out soon that will also be compatible when you are ready for that.

Ah cool, I didnt know that I could upgrade my foil. Now the challenge is to find one for sale. Just checked out Ebay and only found one whole set up for sale. I did wonder if the North foils would fit too as the earlier ones look really similar.
