Was that today or yesterday?
It doesn't look all that windy.

Today.. There was plenty of wind but a bit up and down at times and also a bit too much wind for my 6m in the gusts.

Nice one. Hampton looks like a good choice in today's wind direction. I went to Aspendale, should have gone the other way. Only session #3 for me, got the foil out of the water, but still need to work on this bit. Wing feels comfortable.

Really fun video! Looks like you are pointing super high when you see that sailboat on the opposite tack. Did you tack and race him?

Also I like the underhanded grip on the leading edge. I'm going to try that. Over-hand is killing my knuckles.

I'm just using the old normal GoPro mounted on a bicycle helmet.. I might have to check out those new 360 cameras.

Thanks.. It's amazing how high these foils can point into the wind.. There were lots of yachts out there and I just tried to keep out of their way.

The underhand grip for your front hand is a windsurfing thing and it puts your front arm in a more untwisted relaxed position and it also helps to keep your elbow lower than your shoulder and doing this reduces the risk of getting any shoulder problems.

Yeah there was plenty. I was out at St Kilda, was a solid 20 knots. Nice to see wingers out at Hampton, might come join some time.

I'm also really keen to do the odd Bayside downwinder from say Hampton, or further, to st Kilda. Pick a nice strong sea breeze day, 20 to 25 knots. Anyone doing this / up for it?
