The life coverage of the GWA competition in Pozo is quite good:
Yesterday saw several jumps over 10 m in the big air competition. The highest jump, at 12.2 m, was higher than any of the windsurfer jumps during the wave competition, albeit landed wet. Quite amazing. But while jump heights are comparable, hang times are a lot longer, and landings are a lot smoother. It's quite amazing to see lots of guys doing a soft landing from 8 m high jumps, and foiling again right away. The format of the big air competition is great, with 80% of the score for height and 20% for style. Almost everyone is going for tricks - except for the slalom guy who jumps the highest.
