Interesting variety of kit, was that you on a gong inflatable Rob? Cloud 9 wings look like they go ok, best jumps on go foil.
Ballina has a dedicated crew, still foiling on my own or at most with a couple of people down here. Would like some company especially in the ocean. PM me if you are coming through Yamba.

It's great to see drone footage closer because it's usually way to far away.. I'd like to see it even closer..

Can't get much closer DJ the boys were pulling the wings out of the way of the drone , the obstacle avoidance kick in 5 times
Goggo that was my mate Mario on a Gong Hipe 5-3 he loves it . For catch up when I'm down south .

Wow, great sailing and drone flying. I puckered a few times watching this, speaking as someone who has lost a drone while filming my mates windsurfing--hit the tip of a mast.

It was a DJI Mini 3 pro the obstacle avoidance system works really well , the wings give it a large target to pick up on , it saved itself a few times It's also flies incredibly well in high wind . Out of all the drones I ever owned including full pro models this thing is the bomb . All my Indo vision was also shot of the same drone by a pro Photog .,

Rob, the footage looks great! Do the bottom sensors keep it from flying too low and going into the water? Can you set the drone at a certain low altitude and not have to adjust it while trying to track people? The Mini 3 Pro looks like one of the best performance/value combinations from DJI. If only DJI pursued a gps beacon self tracking option like my old Staaker, then you wouldn't even need a pilot!

Piros, my new Mavic 3 Cine does not have obstacle avoidance while in sport mode, which is required in higher winds. Is your bird set up same way? You are flying low!!! Very cool. Gonna be a while before I get that low. The new bird has very good zoom so that helps a bit.

Dspace:- Yes the bottom sensors are a life saver especially out in the wave zone when a big set rolls through it just picks itself up , it won't let you land in the water even if you tried and yeah a beacon would be all time as this thing has a 45min battery.

Marc5:- I don't fly in sport mode so sensors are always on , at times that can be tricky landing in a moving boat , just need to grab it away from the sensors. You can fly this comfortably close to 20 knots because it's so small , the video above the high wind alarm never went off BUT in the next video once I passed the Seaway heads it went off heaps , when that happens I just go super low and it lets me keep flying. It was gusting over 20 out wide.
