I'm riding a Lift 150 Surf V2 front wing with the 34 surf tail back wing which has been good for learning to carve and turn, however, even as a kook beginner I feel like I'm not getting much glide out of this setup. Before I spend even more $$ a new front wing, I'm wondering if swapping to the 36 glide back wing would make a noticeable difference. ChatGPT and a bunch of reviews say the 36 should give better glide and help connect waves when winging.
Anyone here tried it and can confirm? Or, what is the best Lift front wing to buy for maximum glide but also somewhat forgiving?
I wouldn't chase tails with that front. It's simply not a glider. Maybe the Florence 130X would be a good fit for you? I don't know the entire lift range super well though. 1/2 price right now.
The 170 ha is super forgiving and tons of glide and still turns well but the 150hax is the one you won't ever have to replace . Both these wings will help you learn to tack so well . The 150 surf is a great wing for kitefoiling .

Where do you see them 1/2 price ? Thanks
+1 on the 130 Florance & +1 on the 150 HAX such a killer wing. Lift seem to be struggling in the Aus market . I moved on and it was super hard to get anything resonable for my gear second hand so plenty of stuff going cheap , just look on the foil market places , some really good gear going at great prices. My favorite combo was the 150 HAX with 21 Flow just seemed to work on everything and surfs really well . I am 100% not a fan of large stabs.
I'm using the one ocean 84 SSS uhm mast with a lift adapter and the 150 HAX but I will try the 21 flow stab thanks Piros
