What should I be looking forward to as a foiler in Geraldton?
Planning to move to Geraldton WA in the new year for work, keen to get an idea of the crew over there. I'm assuming there is a fair bit of winging taking place which is my main but also wondering if there is a DW crew and what the run is.
Also doing a quick South Aus half lap to get there (coming from Central Queensland). Any must hit spots along the track?

Cheers Legends ??

Hey fella,

Strong wing, kite and windsurf scene.

Winging is good. Flat water spots through to wing splitting offshore pits. Don't expect to want to go home!

Hey Lavo,
There's a few guys downwinding with parawings, wings and SUP. There are a couple of shorter runs - southgates dunes to Separation point (~7km) and northside of town has St Georges beach to Drummonds. There's a longer run from town to Coronations which is about 20km.
The froth levels are definitely on the up.

Heaps of foiling options here in all disciplines. Home of the Foilbrained crew. Windy as Nov-Mar eg 3-3.5 winging. Bit of seaweed Mar-Apr. Heaps of frothing crew. Welcome!
