Hi. Anyone got any feedback on how ga cross wings faired long term? I can get a little used demo one for a a good price. For reference looking for a 6.2 as my light wind wing.
Anyone with that size in particular comment on wind range?
Cheers
I had a first generation GA Poison and a Crosswing until earlier this summer (North America). i enjoyed both until a fall that blew out the leading edge on the Poison in a seemingly innocuous fall. Accidents happen. After that I got spooked and decided to sell the Crosswing, following GA's initial refusal to warranty the wing. Later they came on board but I had moved on by then as I was on vacation and needed a new wing asap. That said, I enjoyed winging with both, they weren't the stiffest wings, but they had great top ends and were fun to fly, super forgiving wings with reasonable wingspans for their sizes. In fact I think I preferred the GA v1s to the Slingshot v3 I replaced them with.
Interesting feedback. A friend with a wind centre in Greece said a neighboring centre had lots if bladders fail. I put it down to brand bias, but perhaps some truth in it. I noticed a lot of changes made to the 2022 wing.

That is indeed interesting. If they could reinforce the leading edge seam I would definitely consider them again, especially if priced competitively like mine were. Perhaps they have already. It's not hard to do, I remember Best doing it with their first and second generation Waroo kites, it gave me a lot of peace of mind.
