Hello, I have a question regarding the size selection of Gong foils for wing foiling. I'm currently riding a 1050 cm2 and a 1300 cm2 from another brand (Duotone, F-One), and the size is ideal for me. Can I assume that I can choose the Fluid H V3 or Curve H V3 from GONG, for example, with the same surface, and that it will roughly fit?
About that yes. Gong foils tend to be fast in my experience. I quite like them although I have yet to try the V3 which fix the only part I didn't like which was the original attachment system.
What do you mean by 'roughly fit'? It won't fit the connection system of your current gear, if that's what you're asking. If you're asking whether you should expect the same/better performance than your old gear at the same size then I'd say yes. Just make sure to get the right model for your level and what you want to do.
I've got a fluid M that I use winging, works really well but the same foil was horrible with the foil drive due to it's stall speed. I have a curve S which I use with the FD, great pop, stall speed. I also have a veloce HDW L which works well for what it is but I much prefer throwing around smaller foils when possible.

exclusively based on the surface area of ??the foils in the same category (freeride, pump, dw ...)
Something Gong does is publish AR and thickness. This lets you compare them a bit easier.
Personally I'm on the edge of ordering a V3 Curve. I've had V1 and V2 Veloce and want something which is more focused on carving with better low end. I like a foil which has a bit more on rails feeling than I've gotten from the V2 Veloce, likely because it's so flat.

How do you like the veloce? I've been eyeing one off but I'm also convinced I'll put a hole through my wing with it! Curve is really nice, great low end and makes me look a lot better than I am when carving on waves.
It's definitely fast but not particularly good low end.
I'd happily give up some speed for a bit less challenging foil.
Hence why I'll probably go for the Curve V3 next.

I've been loving my veloce v3 in M and L. The M is usable from 12-15 knots for me but up to 20 knots i much prefer the L with it's slightly larger size and longer glide. The glide is very good, it pumps well and i did not have any issues with the low end. In my opinion the stall speed is quite good for a 1000cm^2 high aspect foil. With the veloce M stab the entire setup is very stable for me as well.
