I'm about to take delivery of a new wing board (Axis Froth) and I'm pretty sure there is only a single row of inserts in the middle of the board for the forward foot. Seems like there are two options and I wanted to see if people had experience with either.
Axis - almost looks like they just mashed two straps together to make it work
- more expensive, includes all three but appears to be more "purpose built"
NSI has a pretty nice one that I have used for kite foiling. Not be beefy enough for jumps on a large wing board, but very clean and solid otherwise. Looks similar to the North setup.

I have the north ones on my fanatic 2022 board. They seemed like the slickest ones I could fine. I was put off by the look of the axis online, like there was a floppy neoprene sock over some dense rubber - but I've never seen them in person.
I like my North ones, but I haven't used anything else besides the fanatic straps - which are not Vee, just single straps. The fanatic straps can be opened up and heavy duty velcro can be used to adjust the size of the strap itself. So not only can you use different holes in the board, but the strap can be made longer and shorter. Basically, much more customizable.
That said, they are bigger and bulkier than the north ones. If you want a strap that fits your foot perfectly go with an adjustable one, but otherwise these simple straps are the way to go. I jump in mine with no problem.
I used the Takoon V straps but they started to fall apart after a few months. I've had the Groove soft V straps for about a year and they are great:

North V straps are the go, very comfy but all the v straps I've seen have limited adjustment. I'm 9.5 US 43Euro and wouldn't want any tighter on max setting
Not a V, but if you want the best straps on the market, get these. They are worth the money. I don't ride a Y setup on my wing board (I use a surf stance), but I love them.

But whats the point of the dedicated Y setup with 2 joined straps, rather than 2 seperate straps eg Fanatic?

I currently ride the Fanatic Sky Wing with the Fanatic straps. I agree that they are a bit bulkier but that is outweighed by the adjustability as I ride with booties for a few months out of the year. Our local shop has the North in stock and maybe I'll stop by and take a look.

It looks to me like you can get your front foot more over the centre line , I'm using the fanatic front straps on my skywing but feel like I want my front foot more central so might take a look at the north v strap.

Some boards only have 1 set of holes in the middle so if you want 2 front straps you need the Y set up
