Any tips on how to fold the Unit 24 with longer handles?

Flip wing over onto handles
Fold trailing edge of strut over so it reaches leading edge of strut
Wing will now be folded in half longitudinally
Start at one wingtip and roll until you get to strut
Place something heavy in the section you have just rolled up
Go to other wingtip and roll up to strut

The 2023 unit was easier to fold up.

It's a bit of a nightmare to do in less than ideal conditions IMO but I do like how compact it packs down in the small bag compared to north nova.

Just a couple of things to be aware of, folding the wing from trailing to leading edge means that fold is compressed when you roll from the tips. You end up with a very ugly and permanent transverse crease.

The packing instructions for the North Mode say to put the tips together with the handles on the outside, then roll to the middle. Once you get to the middle you fold the two handles together.

What that does is puts the windows on the outside of the rolled fabric and folding the handles together means you have a large radius fold passing through the windows so no creases in the windows. You do get a small crease in the canopy fabric on the inside of the fold. You can avoid that crease happening in the same place by not rolling super tight and adjusting the roll as you get to the strut.

You could fold the remaining bit of trailing edge over to make the package shorter, but that introduces some creasing on the trailing edge.

The North bag and the Unit bag are made quite long so you can leave it as a sausage rather than scrunch it all down to a cube. The wings fit neatly in the back of my car gear rack. The package is longer than a cube but narrower and stacks well.

The problem with the unit is that the gap between the handles is very small, the Mode has a much larger gap, hence the need to fold the handles away from each other, not together.

I just roll both wing tips to the middle then fold it at the middle between the handles but outwards rather than inwards. Then shove in the bag.

a bit annoying to learn a new folding procedure, but actually pretty easy and it packs up nice. there is a reinforcement patch between the handles (gray fabric) where the wing will be folded repeatedly. having the handles on the outside is nice for any walks of shame that may or may not be in someone's future.
