I'm moving from Perth back to Ireland for 6 months. Due to luggage restrictions, I'll try to take the foil and wings with me and buy a board over there.
Where's good to get foil boards in Ireland? I'm happy with new or second hand. Is DoneDeal.ie still the main arena for second hand gear?
I had a look at the Gong website, but boards are not as cheap a I expected.
Any tips other than to pack a thick wettie?!
Thanks.
yeew, winging is so good in Ireland (!) and it's just coming into prime season..
Jamie Knox in Kerry has a winging school and shop stacked with wings, foils and boards.. there's a good crew down here keeping up with the latest and greatest so plenty of 2nd hand gear turning over.. there's also new, past season gear on offer too.. talk to Jeremy in the shop..
if you're in Dublin, check out Surfdock.. Colin who owns it is winging a lot and they have gear too .. else donedeal occasionally has gear cropping up..
beware buying from the UK as import charges are now an issue .. thanks brexit (!)
Feel free to DM me.. hope to see you on the water this summer!

Epic, thanks Smeee!
I'll be based around Dublin / Wicklow/ Wexford but will drop you a line if I get a chance to take a trip down to Kerry.
I've met Colin a few times, nice fella. I'll pop in to see him when I'm back.
Appreciate the tips, thanks a lot!
