Anyone tried wing foiling at Golden Beach lately? It's 15 knots SE this weekend so I thought I would give it a go.

I presume that a SE seabreeze with a rising tide or a NE with a falling tide would work in the boating channel that runs west to east? It's a shame that the passage is so shallow now (due to Pelican Water's development?). I windsurfed there 30 years ago and there was a lot more water (dagger board deep even at low tide from memory).

E or S/E is best at the top of the tide.

There is a huge current there if you time it poorly with the tide and the full tide gives you a bit more room to play.
