Do any of the foil manufacturers publish wing loading guidelines for different foil sports? Having a guide would help get the right foil for different weight riders.
i was thinking of creating a chart but I don't want to reinvent the wheel.
Thanks in advance.

Wind range charts are for "75 kg user" (some will state 80 kg). "Every 10 kg is another 1.0 m2" (but relative to what?)

That would indeed be great information to help with a purchase without demoing first.
Not sure I'm buying the 1.0 M2 wing size dif for every 10Kg though. Many of the people here are in the 60-70Kg range so when they are on a 4.5 I should be on a 7M to be as well powered?! I'm often on .5 a meter smaller than they are...
I mean foil wings, not wind wings.
Eg I'm 105 kg & gybing ok on an Axis HPS 1050 - area approx 1500 cm2, .07 kg/cm2 On a spitfire 1100-area 1400 cm2 .075 kg/cm2,I can't glide enough to finish gybes cleanly.
i know skill level or lack thereof is mostly to blame, but if manufacturers published wing loading ranges for foils at least we'd have an idea what to expect.
I'm sure manufacturers do.
Gong do, at least, but the info has to be taken with a pinch of salt. They claim an XL is always an XL, but between the models people feel they can't be evenly compared.
Many more aspects than area and wingspan play a role but what could help would be taking their (or any other barnd's) chart as a starting point and have people add other brands' models based on experience.
It's bound to be a lot of work and missing pieces and imperfections will be part of the game, though.
